Agreed that this list is a JOKE! So many of these people/proprietors push to get themselves voted for. More than half of these places/people are horrendous. I went to a few places that I had never been to before based on the list and they were HORRIBLE, but they did publish their “win” as Best of LI.

Panera Bread sucks, Cheese Cake Factory is even worse, and Smokin’ Al’s smokes a phat one. Nice list.

Ronald Sandoval is an excellent acupuncturist. He practices in Huntington and is a specialist in infertility and gynecology . He has helped me and many other families have children. He is compassionate and very knowledgeable.

I recommend anyone having trouble conceiving to have a consultation with him, he will truly impress you.

The most caring and wonderful allergist on Long Island, Dr. Robert Mittman. We recommend him to all those who suffer with pet allergies. He works miracles! Remember adopting a pet at Christmas means a long term commitment. It’s not a toy you throw in the closet after you get bored with it.

I was disappointed to find so few establishments in Nassau County . Maybe the contest should be renamed to “The Best of Suffolk.”
How about categories for the best police, sanitation and hardware stores?

Mare Luna is by far my favorite restaurant in Huntington Village. The food is exceptional, especially the fresh bronzino fish and talapia. The beet and fennel appetizer and lobster quesedillas are my favorites, as well.

Enrico, the propietor is always on hand to brightly welcome his guests and make them feel they are dining at his own home. The wait staff is on the mark as soon as you are seated. Mare Luna recently celebrated its first anniversary and it has been given a excellent rating by Zagat. Many more succsssful years ahead!

I recommend Suburban Exterminating to all of my customers and clients because of their reputation for being honest, competent, and fairly priced. What more could one ask for when buying or selling a home?
