Me too, but until then... watching Long Islands political officials, school staff, law enforcement, and the media as they attempt to figure out the "How?" and "Why?" behind the "new scourge of heroin use" should be entertainment enough.

Ok, I know that I am too young to remember the original story. I know damn well that I know the whole story. Do any of you remember the massive increase in heroin use following the Vietnam War and the A**hole responsible for bringing all the heroin into our USA? Well, lets open eyes quickly and stop trying to fix the broken people. Find the New A**hole that is responsible for importing all of the heroin from Afghanistan and string his or her unholy ass from the nearest high tension wires to fry. I would be willing to go without electricity for a few hours in order to watch this. Once addicted, a person is no longer human until they no longer want to be addicted. Once a person no longer wants to be addicted, then the massive battle can begin for her or him to regain some semblance of a life. Is this f*cking news for anybody? If it is, then people are living way more blindly then I thought. Once more, in case anybody missed it: Afghanistan (remember Afghanistan?) is where the heroin is coming from. Find the importer and stop the problem. Then the young people can start using prescription narcotics as the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry intended all along!! Remember again, there are no better customers than addicts. Ask the big tobacco companies. They'll tell you the truth (oh wait, I forgot. They don't tell the truth either). Strange planet we live on, right?
